If you are coming along the A-5 either from LisbonBadajoz or Madrid, you have to approach Mérida and exit the A-5 at the junction 341, which is also signposted Merida Norte and Montijo. Then follow the signs towards Montijo and enter the road EX-209. Follow the EX-209 for about 6 km until you get to the village of Esparragalejo situated to the right of the road. You have to cross the village following the signs to Hermita de la Salud and Charca los Galgos (dashed line shown in the diagram below) and leave it along the pathway called Caminio de la Salud. Follow the path for 1500 meters and you will find La Gabrielina on your right. If you are coming from the South (SevilleZafra) along the A-66 or N-630, when you approach Mérida follow the signs to CáceresMadrid and enter the A-5, follow it for about 2000 meters and exit the A-5 at the junction 341. From this point follow the instructions given above.If you are coming from the North (CáceresTrujillo) along the A-66 or N-630, when you approach Mérida follow the signs to BadajozSevilla and enter the A-5, follow it for about 3000 meters and exit the A-5 at the junction 341. From this point follow the instructions given above.
